All non domestic premises  by law need an asbestos survey. This would be known as a management survey (formerly called a Type 2 Asbestos Survey).  These will highlight any risk within the building without creating any damage or disturbance to the structure.

A Demolition survey or refurbishment survey is intrusive e.g.  damage will be caused to gain access to concealed areas.  This survey is used before any major work in conducted so you know exactly that the area to be worked on is safe - this again is a legal requirement to have before starting work on site.

Removal is the last resort, we have options that are cost effective and will keep you asbestos in a safe condition.

The duty to manage is directed at those who manage non-domestic premises: the people with responsibility for protecting others who work in such premises, or use them in other ways, from the risks to ill health that exposure to asbestos causes.

We can create a management plan for you to ensure that all your asbestos is safe, and that you are within the current legal regulations.  We can also work with you to devise the best removal and treatment plan for a 2 - 24 month plan, depending on what type of risk you have within your building portfolio.

Asbestos treatment in most cases is the best long term solution to making the asbestos safe while you work in or around the material.  There is no need to remove the asbestos if it is in good condition - all you have to do is manage it.  And with a few minor treatment you can have it sealed and labelled and safe for years to come at a small cost.
